Print Finishes and Effects

Sometimes we have the privilege to produce a CD, DVD, Blu-ray or even a USB product in packaging that causes us to stop, jaw dropped open and remember the unrivalled impact a well executed print finish has on what started off as a plain sheet of 300gsm card stock.

Outside of replicating CDs and duplication our print floor is our busiest, and, as with most commercial printers, we enjoy our standard product and the excitement of a busy production floor, but what we really look forward to are the print finishes and effects. These range from specialist laminates to hot foils, embossing and spot colours, including UV spot gloss.

Print finishes and effects can really elevate your product for only a small increase in price per unit. Below are some of the effects and finishes we can produce. We can guide you on how to use them effectively and you can spur on the creativity.

Lamination: Gloss, Matt, Soft Touch, Digital Foil.
Hot Foiling: Golds, Silvers, Holofoils and colour overs.
Paper Structure: Embossing & Debossing.
Spot Colours: Gloss, Matt, Fluorescents & Pantone

We also offer custom die cutting and can manage some very left field requests, so don't be timid about discussing your requirements with us.
