Blu-ray is a highly specialist manufacturing process and is probably the modern equivalent to the production magic of producing sound from tiny grooves in a Vinyl Record. We really do take our hats off to the media wizards of the 90s.
The replicated disc is the third generation of disc development technology furthering the process on from where the DVD format left off and holds a whopping 25GB in a single layer disc. This means that a Duel Layer Blu-ray Disc is not only a mouthful to say but can hold a massive 50GB of information on only 120mm of polycarbonate disc.
Due to these high storage capacities, the Blu-ray disc has become commonly renowned for high definition audio visual display capabilities and focuses on a luxurious amount of quality to capture its market.
To accompany the launch of the format is the iconic Blu-ray disc box, which we naturally offer as a package deal and we can even embellish this with slip cases, belly bands etc. Though we encourage thoughts to the collectors market and the consideration that Blu-ray is a highly treasured investment of a format, when it really comes down to it, the physical format is still a 120mm disc and so can be packaged in as many ways as our CDs and DVDs. From a creative approach, anything is possible.
